Trust Deeds for Scottish residents
Unlike our other debt solutions, a Trust Deed is only available in Scotland. As a legally binding agreement between yourself and your creditors, it can only be set up by licensed Insolvency Practitioners such as ourselves.
With a Trust Deed, you agree to pay back as much as you can realistically afford for a fixed period (usually 36 months). Your creditors agree not to take any action against you, and to write off anything you still owe at the end of that period.
Once accepted, a Trust Deed is considered ‘protected’, which means neither you nor your creditors can change the terms agreed. Maintain your payments and any outstanding liability for debt will expire at the same time as the Trust Deed itself.
